FUN, RELEVANT RADIO WITH A RELATIONSHIP TWIST

Married With Microphones (Thursdays 3:00-4:00pm on MFN and Saturdays 8:00-9:00pm on WCGO) is a weekly one-hour show, featuring JT & Leanne, a 40-something couple that manage to live together, work together, raise kids and “furkids” together, and not kill each other! The show features hot topics, including "What's Trending," Hollywood and entertainment news, family vacation-destination suggestions, and special guests with “infotaining” advice on health, finance, and living life to the fullest! All this mixed with the hilarious chemistry of JT and Leanne, who also give each other a "Relationship Report Card" each week, making “Married With Microphones” a must-add to any programming lineup!

Together, JT and Leanne have over 15 years experience in television and morning drive radio as "Married with Microphones," on both Country and Hot AC stations.

ABOUT THE HOSTS

JT is originally from St. Louis, where his dad was in radio and television for several decades. Since graduating college in 1996, he's hosted morning drive shows on great stations like WGGC-Bowling Green, WYCT-Pensacola, and, most recently, WMXS/Montgomery. JT has also produced several television projects and currently co-hosts the weekly “Married With Microphones” with Leanne.

Leanne is originally from Maine but moved to Pensacola at a young age and is a veteran, having served five years in the Navy. She co-hosted morning drive radio at WMXS-Montgomery for 12 years and has also been very heavily involved in the local community and causes close to her heart, including the March of Dimes, Montgomery Humane Society, breast cancer awareness, and others.

That's the promise of JT's dad, Mike Thompson, a rabid sports enthusiast and long-time broadcaster in St. Louis. Mike served as Media Relations Director and play-by-play voice of the RiverCity Rage of the National Indoor Football League and as press box announcer for both the St. Louis football Cardinals and Rams. For two years he held his breath and compromised his safety by embarking on a stint as guest ring announcer for the WWF on its visits to St. Louis Kiel Center, working with the likes of Hulk Hogan, Rick Flair, and Randy "Macho Man" Savage. Throw in a year of in-house announcing at Enterprise Center for the St. Louis Steamers of the Major Indoor Soccer League, and it's easy to see why talking his favorite subject with our listeners is, according to Mike, "a fun job. DAVID FORD is a full-time, ACE-certified trainer through American Council on Exercise. He is the owner and operator of NOW Total Fitness in the heart of downtown Montgomery, AL. David has been a personal trainer for more than nine years and instructs classes that include kickboxing, Tabata, and NOW Boot Camp. David is passionate about seeking optimal health in his own life and helping others to do the same. He runs his classes with energy, enthusiasm, and a great sense of humor! He hopes to maximize the time that all of us have by promoting a healthier lifestyle.
